Recently I received a message from a customer. He was excited about his new AtomStack A70 MAX laser engraver, but then ran into connectivity issues that were holding him back. Maybe you're going through the same problem. Don’t worry! Many users experience this, and there’s a simple fix! In this blog, we’ll walk you through a step-by-step guide to resolve the connectivity issue.
Part 1. Understanding the Problem
Many users face a connection failure to LightBurn software when setting up their Atomstack X70/A70 Max or other machine models. This problem can arise from various factors, including improper driver installation, outdated software, incorrect settings, etc. Before you panic, let's see what we can do to solve it.
Part 2. Troubleshooting the Connection
To start, follow these steps:
1. Verify the connection.
Ensure your laser machine is properly connected via USB or the correct port. Sometimes you need to change the USB cable or port to verify that the original is not damaged.
2. Check the laser engraving software.
Make sure you have the latest version of the LightBurn software installed.
3. Driver update.
Sometimes the issue may be as simple as an outdated driver. The customer who messaged me eventually eliminated the connection failure by taking this step.
Click here to download the latest driver. And then follow the prompts to install the updated driver on your system.
4. Try the manual connection method
If the automatic connection does not work, try the manual method:
Step 1: Open LightBurn software and go to the connection settings.
Step 2: Choose the "Create Manually" option.
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to manually configure our device connection.
After you follow all these simple troubleshooting steps correctly, the connection issue should be now resolved, and you'll be able to get your Atomstack A70/X70 Max up and running in no time.
